Dawn and Andy at Lark Rise Daycare and Home Boarding offer a unique home from home experience for dogs. Having previously worked on the visual branding for Lark Rise, I was tasked with creating a leaflet to capture the spirit of the brand and engage new customers. Having consulted with Dawn about the content and the context within which the leaflets would be placed, it was decided that a traditional trifold format would be used. The task then was to create a trifold that would stand out among other leaflets while retaining a simple and strong brand look and feel.

The design for the leaflet needed to include imagery that was provided by the Dawn and certain specific information. In response I decided to skip the usual  photographic layout with dropped in square images and go for something more dynamic; integrating the imagery fully into the design. Using gradient maps helped vividly deliver a flood of colour to give a great impact on both the inside and outside of the leaflet. The typography is bold and playful without being over powering, including some custom icon design and fun bone shaped quote marks for the review.
